Crisp graphics on woven sailcloth.
Very thin printed insignia cloth with light block — easy for the loft to mount and suitable for full-colour images, logos and numbers.
Designed to look integrated.
The material is thin and flexible, so it follows the sail rather than sitting on it like a heavy patch. An opaque backing prevents the image from showing through when marks are mounted back to back.
- Light-block backing
- Very thin and light insignia cloth
- Any full-colour image
- Simple application
- Available up to one metre wide

The same questions come up on every project. Full versions of these, and more, are on the answers page.
What can be printed on a Dacron sail?
Sail numbers, class insignia, national marks, sponsor logos and full-colour artwork on woven polyester cloth.
Full answer →Does heavier cloth change anything?
Yes. Woven Dacron is opaque, so a graphic that must read from both sides has to be printed on both sides, in register. Thin cloth is the easy case; thick cloth is the interesting one.
Full answer →How long does it last?
Durability is a specification, not a constant. What wears sail graphics is handling, UV and packing rather than wind — and in practice the cloth usually tires before the print fades.
Full answer →What artwork do you need?
Vector artwork — PDF, AI, EPS or SVG, with fonts converted to outlines. For the first conversation a rough visual is enough.
